This Critical Care Nurse Residency class will begin in February of 2009 and will run for 7 months. We have openings in the following departments: CCU, PICU, and SICU.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS or RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identifies and diagnoses alterations in findings in conjunction with patient’s clinical presentation.
• Based on assessment information and in collaboration with patient/family and the interdisciplinary health care team: identifies problems and coordinates formation of an interdisciplinary problem list; formulates individualized, measurable outcomes; develops an individualized plan of care that includes educational and discharge planning interventions; implements the patient’s plan of care; continually evaluates effectiveness of the plan of care; identifies and takes action to achieve unmet outcomes.
• Initiates mobilization of case management resources as needed.
• 40 HPW/ Variable Shifts
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: Graduation from a National League of Nursing (NLN) school is required
• Education: Cummulative Grade Point Avergae (GPA) of 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale
• Licensure: License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin
• Completed Professional Nursing Goals Statement
• Three letters of reference (may attach with resume)
