Supports and assures compliance with medical staff bylaws, policies and procedures, JCAHO and other licensing authorities standards in the Operating Room, PACU, Day Surgery and Endoscopy. Service Delivery: A. Timely/Guaranteed Starts: Scheduled times for patient in the room will be 30 minutes before requested/posted time. Posted times represent a commitment to the patient by surgeons, nursing and anesthesia services staff. B. Timely turn-overs: Turnover processes are identified and performed concurrently by acknowledged standards to maximize valuable resources. OR Schedule, Medical Staff  personnel. C. Fully Operating Equipment: Operating equipment and components checked, run and completed same day as used. D. Available Supplies: reviewed 24 hours prior to use. E. Effective Patient Processing and Flow: Meeting or exceeding patient and family service expectations while assuring timely patient flow and processing for on time starts.
